The App Sack Team pulled it off!  Our first standalone app, Camp Recipes, is approved and live in the App Store! Hey no lie, it’s been fun and tedious at times getting everything and everyone rounded up and together to get the app out-the-door.  Regardless, we have a solid app that does what it’s advertised to do, which is get some great camping recipes into the hands of backpackers, campers, and others while they’re enjoying the great outdoors.

So, back to getting Camp Recipes submitted to the App Store.  It didn’t turn out anything like some of the stuff I’ve been reading around the web, with a few app reviews taking up to a couple of months.  Now granted our app isn’t as complex and involved as some, and possibly the reason we got through fairly fast and painlessly. Honestly I think it’s because TC is a beast at pushing the bits around in Xcode.  It’s true… I do!   Anyway, after clicking submit around 8:00 P.M. on Monday night, only two days later, Wednesday evening TC got word from Apple that we were approved and in the App Store.  Maybe it’s beginners luck and we’ll know soon enough with more apps on the way, but the process was way less painful than we were expecting.  Thank you Apple!
